Welcome to the AARC Jr Website

Hi,

We're glad you stopped by to visit.

You'll be able to access access more features if you create an account and log in. You do not have to live in Marlyland or be a member of AARC Jr. to create an account for the website. Anyone that has an interest in ham radio is invited to join us.

In the forums, we've set up a group just for those under 18 to share information amongst yourselves.

If you're between 18 and 118, we want to hear from you as well.

The Menu on the left will guide you through our website.

Here's what we'll be working on for the next 5-6 months:
  • Kids Roundup

THE DATES FOR THE KIDS ROUNDUP, AS SHOWN ON PAGE 82, IN THE APRIL 2008 QST ARE INCORRECT.

The CORRECT DATES are 31 May-1 June as indicated below.

An amateur radio contest for kids (with or without a license) and sponsored by AARC Jr. will be held 31 May-1 June. Contact KI3DS for bonus points. Hope to hear you on the air! Visit the menu for details. The rules, summary sheet, and a log sheet (as pdf files) and a link to download the logging software are now posted in the menu (AARC Jr Information).

  • Field Day  -  Details of our Field Day plans and operation are now posted in the Menu ("AARC Jr Information")  AARC Jr will be participating in Field Day (28-29 June) as KI3DS 5A or 6A MDC.

  • MDC QSO Party - AARC Jr will be participating in the annual MDC QSO Party 9-10 August. A few years ago we took 1st place in the "Club" category. With your help we can do it again! Details will be posted in the Menu in the near future.
